An excerpt from my journal.
May 1, 2009, Emrang, Earth, Still in the Battle.
God promises an inheritance to all those who become Israel one day. An inheritance that will never be taken away. I have always wanted to settle down, plant some grapes and apples and maybe some wheat. Right now God is not calling me to focus on that but He is calling me to follow the grand plan that He has for my life. I don't know what actions will lead others to Christ, but God is orchestrating all things including the events in my life in such a way so that all will have the ability to follow God. Someday, in heaven, I plan to settle down and plant grapes, and apples and grain. I may even do that here, but I will definitely not be doing just that as long as there is war. One day there will be no more war. Just think of the possibilities then!

Hi Brian,
We have had that thought as we plant our garden this year, that we don't have any assurance that we will eat of the things we plant. But we have the promise of enjoying the fruits of our labors in the new earth. (Isa 65:21, 22) We are pilgrims on this earth with the goal of preparing ourselves and others for that wonderful inheritance! What a blessed hope to look forward to!
Hope you are doing well & enjoying missionary life! :-)
