Waiting.....

I'm sitting here in my Dad's classroom downloading the quicktime movies for the Student Missions class that I must finish before going to training at Andrews next weekend. Everything seems agonizingly slow. There are so many things that must be accomplished before I actually arrive in the Philippines, and they all seem to be going by so slowly. I know that the last month here will go by quite fast, but I am anxious to be actually in the jungle doing clinic work instead of here doing paperwork. I'm sure that most of you know what I mean! So, while I wait, I prepare. Plenty of physical activity to prepare my body, relaxation and prayer to prepare my heart, and bible study to prepare my mind. I am so glad that I do have the time to prepare, but I can't wait until I hear the "sound of the wind in the mulberry trees". Like David did before he went into battle. Yes, I am going into battle, there is the risk of casualty, but it is good to know that God is leading the charge. You are all in my prayers especially the student missionaries who have already gone out are in my prayers. Fight the good fight and lead others to do so as well!

Wow, I remember the feeling. Keep up the preparation, you will be glad for everything you learn! Hey, I just got a book (not mine, but I'm using it) that might be of help to you. It is published in India, so I'm not sure how easy it is to get ahold of, but it is called: natural remedies encyclopedia written by Vance Ferrell and Harold M. Cherne, M.D. Anyways, it has some good stuff in it. God bless with your preparation! Talk to you later.
