Prayers and new school going up!

Dear friends and relatives,

I thought it is about time I send you an update on how things are going.  It has been a challenging last few months, but I can see God working in my life and in the lives of the people I have been with.

School:  The school is still coming along slowly.  The roof is almost done.  I keep trying to send pictures but everytime I use the internet it just hasn't worked out yet.  This last monday around 10 people came together to cut grass for the roof of the school.  They were from several different villages and I was very proud of them for all working together.  However this Sunday as I was leaving I found out that there is a problem that has developed between the folks that were working together and they are both mad at each other because they have not been giving each other food. (right now there is not much food available even in the jungle so that can be a sore spot).  Please pray that the Holy Spirit will speak to them and calm their anger and frustrations so that they will be able to work together and finish the school.  Pray that God will have the influence in these lives and not Satan because Jesus died for them and they belong ot Him.

One quick story is a couple was plannin to bring their malnourished baby to me this last Sunday to get a checkup because she is low weight.  Well, Saturday night the mom had a dream of a dog eating a pick or something like that (I can't always understand in this language if it is the pig that eats the dog or the dog that eats the pig).  They believe that if they have a dream like this they shouldn't go wherever they were planning to go or else they may get sick.  So you can see how Satan is working overtime to keep these folks away from the physical and spiritual help that these people need.

These people need people praying for them.  Please pray that God will have the influence in their lives.  God is waiting to hear your prayers and Satan's hold on them will be broken.  So I am asking you to commit to pray for these people regularly in the Mekegwa' valley and especially around Emrang and my future students.

I have set a tentative date for starting school sometime in early July, so please also pray that that will work out if that is what God's will is (and I believe it is.)

Thank you so much for your support and prayer.  We will all meet soon in heaven.  Think of the stories we will share there (or will it seem to insignificant to talk about?)

In His service,

Brian.
