Back to Palawan!

Dear Friends and Family,

 

My fundraising is very close to being complete although I still have a tad more to go.  But I am close enough that I am able to go ahead and leave for Palawan, Philippines once again.  I will be flying out of Greensboro, North Carolina this Sunday (November 22).  I am hurrying to get everything done that I need to do before I leave.  This will be a busy Friday!

 

Thanks to all of you who have been so helpful and encouraging.  Thank you to all of you who donated supplies.  They will be very usefull to the teachers and students in our Project.  Thank you to those of you who allowed me to occupy empty spaces in your houses and who fed me.  Thank you to those who took time to talk, to those who gave me encouragement, and to those who gave counsel, and thank you for the assurance that there are many of us who are striving to serve God together!  Our work is all connected because we work for the same God and out of the same response of love and grattitude.

 

I will be trying to send more regular updates this time as I am in the Philipines.  However I will probably have E-mail only once a month so don't expect to get very regular updates but I will try my best.

 

Continue to serve Him out of the spirit of love that he has placed in each of our hearts.
